TR2/3/3A Someone got a deal on e bay

It came with a pair of new wings.

Got enough on my plate at the moment.

Looking at the silver one on e bay at a fancy dealership it looks as though the TRIUMPH letters on the apron are missing.

As I recall, back in the day replacement aprons were not drilled as the letter holes changed along the way. May also be true of repros sold later. Also possible that some late cars (some TR3Bs) were produced w/o the lettering.

My 1961 TR3 had the nose replaced when it was 3 years old. No holes in the factory replacement apron. The ribbed and smooth letters used different holes.

The new wings are a bonus but I find it unlikely that the rusty wings were where the rust stopped. As for the letters, I have three old aprons and two of them have had the letters filled and painted over.
