TR4/4A Someone buy this Jamaican Fiberfab TR4..

Less than two hours left, I kind of like it:

Of all the kits, that one is appealing somehow.

No no no Phil, never sell, only acquire. How many times do I have to explain that there is always a friend with an extra garage or barn that has just enough room.... ;-)

I bet that would go like stink with a healthy engine.

I searched ebay and found a Review Article from a contemporary Road & Track... they too thought the car looked great but were less than impressed by the home-build quality of the one they were given. I'm a little surprized because the car they had was built by Fiberfab themselves and they seem to have done a really sloppy job with an old engine that wasn't properly re-built or even set up.

And I do know well what they mean about kit cars and the difficulties of making them liveable....

I was particularly impressed by the....errr....seat covers.
And the fact he couldn't even get the carpet in front of the pedals back up against the firewall for the photo shoot.
The mouldy box of parts on the passenger side floor is impressive.
The unfinished tunnel (aft of shifter) is class.

What is that cutout in the scuttle with a green coffee can lid behind it for?

I like the horn mounts. One good blast and that radiator will fall apart....

I think the two speed slush box, tall rear axle ratio and tired engine probably contribute to the lower than expected numbers.
