Those were the straighter bits where I was more certain that I wouldn't end up over the hill...

Beautiful drive! Is that color Damson?

How about a shot of the new gauges in your dash. They look great, from what I could see.

Where did you get them?

"Take me home, country roads.."

Sure looks familiar. I do miss the twisty-windy rural highways.

Nice, Jer! Thanks.

Damson.

Which I heard alot from my father growing up, so its strange to me as a color.(or colour...)

Yeah, itza Jaguar tach out of a V12 XKE that I converted to 6 cyl operation (electronic) and the associated 160MPH speedo. Still says "12cyl." to promote inquiring minds...

The 2" 'ers (or 52mm...) are assorted Smiths goodies that I picked up along the way. I like the additional resolution of the 270 deg. sweep (on oil press. and water temp.)
, as well as actual numbers on the ammeter....

Considering losing the dimmer and drilling for my matching vacuum gauge. Seriously has anyone ever turned the dash lights down?

Although the Jag gauges do light up green instead of the TR blue. Have been considering green bulbs (or bulb condoms colored green) for the full (if somewaht less bright) effect.

I'll shoot a shot of them tomorrow, and start a new thread.

The real challenge was re-arranging the idiot lights because there are 3 less holes to use!

Originally left to right: Mainbeams-Trafficator-Hazard-Brakes-Oil Press-Ignition.

Now: Mainbeams-Hazard-Ignition

Long term probably gonna switch the Hazard for Brake. I'm pretty anal about the brake system, but anything is possible. Hazards can be heard running, so the light is a little redundant...

Oil press light replaced by (anually calibrated) mechanical gauge.

The trafficator never worked on this car anyway, and I have an ultra-loud aftermarket blinker relay, so they can even be heard while touring ah... sportingly...
