bugedd-

I'm keeping fingers crossed- clearance was ok with my 948, so I'm hoping for the best.

I remember that when I first got the weber I wound up crinkling up aluminum foil to get an impression of the hood vs air filter clearance. There was just a minimal amount.

The weber manifold also rests on one exhaust header tube. The heat transfer can't be good. I meant to file off some metal. Maybe next time...

"My hood actually slightly rests on a corner of the air cleaner." I had my manifold shaved down about 1/4" for clearance on the Bugeye.

Not the way it came from the factory but one heck of a fine job. You do excellent work.
