Some of the aircraft they are flying are over 100 years old.

Cool video. Better to see them fly instead of sitting in a museum. Thanks for posting the video.

Thanks David, very interesting film, I watched the whole thing! PJ

There are some amazing aircraft in that collection.

Last time I saw anything that old flying was at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome back in the 60s. Link: Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome .A great place to visit. Cole was still with us when we were there, happy they are carrying on his tradition! Turn on your sound and watch the video. PJ

A lot of them are the original and only surviving one of their kind. They noted when a replica was being flown. It must be getting more difficult to find pilots with the experience needed to fly those old aircraft.

Do any of you guys know if those old aircraft are flying on their original engines? or have the engines been updated/replaced?

Great to see those aircraft in the air again. Reminds me of Old Rhinebeck.

Tom M.

Tom, I believe their using the original engines, otherwise I believe they would have stated so, as they did with the reproductions. The controls are similar to what they use today, with the exception some have no ailerons and use the wing warping method.
