some firsts

We will have the same sort of temps for a driving tour with the local MG club tomorrow; our roof will not be up and the coffee will be even better when we finish. I don't like driving the car with the roof up and will never get a hard top. No offense meant to those that have them, but for me the allure is to get away from the claustrophobic experience of isolated modern "comfortable driving"; if it was a daily driver or racer then that would be different. I compare this to the majority of golfers in North America that won't play golf in the rain or even the wind because it spoils their enjoyment of the game; who wants that?

I'm not sure I want to ask for "seconds" on those two points.............
