Solenoid actuated throttle bumper...

Well, it works. I got the thing rigged, will work on the aesthetics later. Works like a charm. Gotta adjust the throw a bit, polish the aluminum bracket, wire it permanently.

Question, should I wire the hot side directly to the hot wire on the fan? Seems logical. MacGiver would be proud.

In case anyone wonders, my front carb is off a Jag. It had extra blind ports that I was able to tap (big bolt) and the top smaller bolt is where the choke bracket went (I choked the 2 rear carbs). Slick.

I'm SOOO happy!!!

Congrats, Bill!!! That's as elegant a bodge as ever I saw one!!!

..to Hades with aesthetics. Efficacy is what COUNTS!!!

Make it purty later. It's SEXY now!!

Certainly is unique, Bill. How about a feed from the fan relay, whatever requires less wire to route.
