Hi....I am interested to know about the copper pipe from the thermo housing to the rear of the cylinder head.....On a road car a similar pipe supplies the heater at the shut off valve fitted into the rear of the cylinder head....I presume that your layout assists in better cooling of the engine block, by the connection to the rear?

Thanks Charly...What interests me is that in a road car, hot coolant flows out of the rear cylinder head only when the heater valve is opened.
Your layout connects hot coolant from the rear of the head to hot at the front, that then enters the radiator for cooling....Is that beneficial to the flow of coolant from the rear?
Wondering about why you chose to do it this way, rather than flow the rear hot to below the water/coolant pump, as what would happen if the heater was operational.
Or perhaps it does not make a difference either way?
