My biggest problem is deciding whether or not to buy an actual camera or just a smart phone. The pics our truck driver took of the team with his phone were incredible.

I need a new phone anayway but would rather a designated camera. Having a camera on me at all times would be advantageous (my phone), however; carring around something that doesn't fit in my pocket is aggrevating.

Yeah, I know, the "manbag" is the answer. The probelm is, the only things I would carry that fit the desctiption are military surplus.

Visiting government buildings carrying a gas mask bag or a defunct AK47 five mag pouch could prove to be problematic.

And that's just the beginning....

What if someone were to make me mad, what am I to do, threaten to hit them with my purse? :smirk:

Simply call your purse a gun case... Well, dah.

I spent over half my life carrying at least one SLR strapped on my shoulder, Billy.

...I won't go into what slinging two Nikons and a press badge have as effect for access to about anyplace.

EDIT: And a 35MM Nikon body made an excellent self-defense weapon if the need arose.
The plastic ones may not have the same level of efficacy.
