Since Moss did not feel free to give me the parts to the wire loom that go to the windsheld wiper or the headlight dimmer, where do they come from?

Or do I call that tech support guy again.

Think I just may have gotten it figured out. Guess it is all here after all. Sure would have been nice if someone would have included some instructions for this darn thing. It's like wild. I don't know how anyone without experence would do this. Going to take awile to get it organized for sure.

Jack, I think most folks have their old harness & are just replacing it so they have something to go by...you're building a new car from scratch...think how much you'll be able to teach us when you're finished!

Thanks Tony, just what I needed to hear, gesh.

hehehehehe

so jack ... now that you're an expert on wiring ... i have this blue wire in the trunk that attached to this green/black wire .... awh what the heck ...i'll just plug it into the 120 wall socket ... thanks anyway!

Expert? Piff. Heck I no longer even have a brief case.

Today it is into the Cave, wonder if I can get out again? Going to hook up the electricals back there.

if you looked at what i have to work with you'd head for the trash. my previous harness wiring is crinkly, black (where it's not supposed to be), and sliced ten times over by the POs. not a whole lot to hang your hat on. i plan on using the electrical schematic and some common sense. well hopefully common sense!

Hehe, I had no previous harness. A fresh slate and all that.

Each connection is an adventure and a real accomplishment.

i envy you jack on this one .. i'm a sparky so this stuff usually comes easy ... when i reach this point i will be hard pressed not to make changes and mods to improve it.

Jack--I'm in the middle of the wiring mess...nothing to compare it too either--so I feel your pain. I'm also converting to alt, neg ground, different (sealed) ignition, and installing a modern painless (yeah right) fuse block.

But, my efforts are paying off a little. I have been able to tag most everything so far, and I plan tomorrow to start connecting things (alt, coil, etc).

Mustafa, when you get all those wires for the windsheld wiper motor worked out. Tell us. That's the only thing that has me going other than the extra two wires that exit the headlight loom just maybe 6 inchs past the connecters where it plugs into the other loom.

Here's what I've got for wiring (keep in mind this harness is from British Wiring, so may be different than a Moss one).

Wipers: Green and Green/Black, come through the firewall right near the wiper motor itself.

Bonnet loom: no extra wires coming out near the end that connects to the rest of the car. Are you sure you don't have the harness on backwards? On the light end, there are some wires exiting the loom, for the RH turn lights and the connectors for the RH headlamp. Then the wires go across to the LH lights and terminate there.

I'm happy to take any pictures y'all need to clarify things if I can help.
