Its fantastic that your car past survived the smog police.

Some of the driveways here can be quite steep and a lot of them do show gouges in the pavement from other cars. The driveway while not particularly steep but the road is heavly crowned and the angle that is formed is enough to get a low car to scrape.
 
My driveway isn't steep but the road has a depression before the driveway starts....so if you had a real low car it would easily scrap....So far I haven't scraped anything(even MGA's with the plate mounted below the bumper)
 
Seen some of those driveways.

Approach the dirveway at as much of an agle as you can...looks great. That is about the same height as my CB car...14 inches actually. Nice job!

I have always been an anal retentive, 'leave it the way it came', purist with my restorations....

However, Looking at yours, I think I need to re-evaluate my opinion of non-original restoration..... Yours really does look like what a 'B' should have been... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
