So I'm up to running for about 15s now...

I was playing with trying to get the beastie running fuel injected today. I managed to get it going for about 15s before it died. A new record.

Seriously, it looks like I way overspecced the injectors. I've had to order new ones, so it'll be a few days before I can get back to it. Anyone want some virtually new 42lb green tops?

This is starting to actually look like it might work...

It better. You have a new job and it wouldn't look good if your car wasn't running.

Congratulations! Nice picture too!

42s!!?? I was running 42lb injectors with my Paxton supercharged 2000 Mustang.. and I was putting down 394 to the wheels (435 with race gas).

If you still plan to supercharge it, you might want to keep them until you're sure that you don't need them.

I probably will.
They're only about $200 for a set of 8 though. The 24's cost more!!!!!!

Alana,

I bought an LM-1 and an LC-1 (an add-on O2 sensor harness to allow me to read both exhaust pipes) to try to optimize the tune on my triple carbs. I know I'm running pig rich and I might end up trying to source some different needles to lean up this beast if the LM-1 confirms my suspicions.

I haven't had time to install the bungs yet, I've got a couple other projects to finish up first. But I'm not ready to tell anyone about that yet. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

"The leaner the meaner, until it blows!"

I have the LC-1. It interfaces with the ecu. Real easy to wire. I checked my plugs and if you wanna talk pig rich, you should see how black those puppies were this afternoon...
