So Cal MG restoration

Does anyone know of a "recommendable" restoration source for my 1954 MGTF? I've found them in Northern Califonia and all over the country, but have hit a wall in Southern California. Strange for the home of folks who are crazy about their cars. Especially top down MGs.

Help! Paul E.

Try Kavanagh Motors in Tarzana. They are an all-around British shop but may be able to point you in the right direction. It's a family place that has been there forever. I haven't used them but they come recommended and I've seen a T-series or two in there.

The main requirements are paint and body. The fellow I bought it from had been and engineer for Moss Motors and had pretty much gone through the greasy side, but wanted to finish his TD so, I bought the TF. I'm not saying the that it's mechanically perfect, but we sure cruised down from Santa Barabara. Seven thousand miles on a rebuilt engine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

There's an MG garage in Chatsworth called Darrin's MG Service who is right next to a body shop that he recommends and sends all his work to. Might be worth checking out.
