If you're looking for a Windows-friendly "snow fall" app: Snowflakes fall across the screen, regardless of what window and/or browser tab you have open, until you turn it off. Every window or browser page has the snow as an overlay to the screen itself.

No problems so far, and Malwarebytes, Windows Security, and AVG find no danger. "DesktopSnowOK 5.05".
