Those 90/90 days are one of the things I *don't* miss from my days back east. Nice and dry here, just a bit on the cold side.

Shawn has got it right -- gets above 40 here in the winter and I'm eyeing my motorcycle for a ride.

Nope just relative. Torture to me is 85+ degrees with Humidity over 80%. To you that is probably a nice day.

Na, I don't like either.

Hawaii is where it's at !!!

If I wasn't married....

In a former life I spent a bit of time in Honolulu on a work trip. I quickly decided that I could live there. Permanently.

Few years ago, Jerri & I spent the summer in Hawaii....after 6 weeks it can get tedious....even in a hotelon the beach!

Have an Aunt and Uncle that live in Kailua on Oahu. First time I visited it rained the whole time. It was winter, raining and mid-60's. My cousins were all in sweaters and jeans. My brother and I, straight out of the deep freeze winter of Wyoming in 1979 (had about three blizzards by Christmas) were running around in the rain in just our swim trunks. We thought it was hot.

We stayed in Haliah (sic?) on Oahu. my buddy rented a house on the beach. MAN, was that nice!!! maybe your aunt and uncle wanna adopt, eh cuz?????

I loved Hawaii... but drivin' there with all our "baggage" was a bit of an issue. So we opted fer CONUS tropics instead.

Lately we're thinkin' that drive mighta been worth a shot. :jester:

Puerto Rico is becoming the new Hawaii...same basic temperature...beach, etc....plus, its closer & less expensive to get there.....5 hours from Huntsville, AL via Delta! We're definitely gonna go back.
