what we need is a snow-cam. Maybe Doc can suggest a set-up. We have plenty of electronics geeks out there I know!

I never did find them sooper-seekrit spy cameras Tony deployed around th' hovel... If I do, we'll re-purpose 'em. :jester:

now have 7 inches, and they say it is just getting started. Wife is stuck at LAX, hasn't been able to get a flight to IAD , been trying since yesterday. Now scheduled for tomorrow early evening. Doesn't look good. Now we're under a blizzard warning starting at ten pm. Trying to shovel it in waves, every time we have 3 or 4 inches down. By myself (well, two chihuahua's, but they don't shovel much). You eastern seaboard folks be careful out there! :savewave:

That's what our weather channel is saying - looks like it's going to roll right over us and into your area. We're supposed to get wind gusts up to 40 mph later tonight along with the 20 to 30 inches.

My weather people are saying you to the west are only suppose to get 6-12

Hope they're right, our folks are saying a lot more. I'm about 40 miles north of Baltimore and DC, right outside of Frederick, MD.

My inlaw lives in Fred neck.
I spent 18 years in the Ol Line State

My wife probably knows them - I think she knows the entire county! :yesnod: We're in New Market, about 7 miles south of Fred.

Here's my front yard at 9:21 Saturday: 5-7 more inches to come today, also.

it's over - 32 inches, and the sun came out around 4 pm :yesnod: Wife still stuck at LAX waiting for them to open Dulles...

In 66 we were out of schools for 2 weeks in Fairfax, VA. The drifts were 6 feet deep. Well over 2 feet this time. The plow just gave us a single lane road. Now I'm digging out to meet it.
