Is there anyway known to man to clear up a smokey/cloudy area on a windshield? I have an area on the drivers side of my 79 midget that has a minor area that is cloudy but would like to clear it up. Any help would be appreciated

This is also on another thread - cloudy windshield. I have never heard of a way if it what I suspect - it is the lamination turning a milky color. Only thing is a new windshield.

No cure for a smoked windshield. It is the plastic lamination between the glass that went foggy.
the only fix is a new glass.
