Well she passed! Just finished round #2, at the California smog test only station.
The only thing I did before I took her back in – was replace the old (leaking) oil filler cap and re-confirm that the timing was set correctly – it was. The only thing different this time was that I made sure to remind the fellow performing the test on my car to check ignition timing @ 1500 RPMs and not at an idle.
