I'm not normally a fan of big expensive, fancy sedans (OK I can never afford one and am jealous) but I saw a Mercedes 500 CLS today on the way to work and it was really beautiful! I normally pass over the reviews of such animals in my car rags but I may have to follow up just to see what's said about it. Anyone driven one? See link for pic

Haven't driven one yet but when we took Jerri's C280 over for maintenance the other day I was gawking...she said she'll keep hers....but if I get a chance...

I've seen a bunch of those around here....beautiful cars, kinda remind me of the old Jag sedans......

I like the little SL500 and SL600 myself.

It's not bad looking, but I think they've built more distincitive looking cars than this recently, IMO. As Kenny says the SL comes to mind. The 4 door coupe, if I remember correctly that description generated some debate here at BCF awhile back.

Hate to be in the back seat and hit a bump.

oooouuuccch!

Ok so it's nice, but it really ain't my cup'a joe. Anyway I did a quick check & base price starts out around $65 grand before any dealer markups. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

But if I was dead set on spending that kind of money, I could think of a heck of a lot of other vehicles I go to first. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
