Smart idea from my local dealer

I took my 04 Disco in for a service yesterday. Got an LR3 as a loaner.

I wasn't looking to get another car, but it drove so nice that when I got mine back I went over to the sales area and swapped it for an 06 LR3. Pick it up on Monday. Payments are lower, insurance is less and it gets (slightly) better mileage.

I figure that it was a deliberate ploy on the part of the dealer, but hey, it worked. Oh and for those who have Disco IIs and didn't drive one yet, the LR3 is a great leap forward imo...

I rode in an LR3 during my time in Europe this spring, and was most impressed. You couldn't even tell it was a deisel by listening to it! Congratulations on the new set of wheels. You are gonna love this ride!
