Good one J.B.
Bet ya can't shut the hood with that V8 stuffed in there /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Needs a "power bulge"!!

now you're just pickin on my TR4, aren't ya?!

Here ya go J.B. Here's one I saw last weekend at WGI

It's got a 350 chevy, and is running Jaguar wheels and hubs.

Heres one powered by a Mazda rotary

Waddya think?

I think I like this one best:

Guy in our car club just finished his MGA V8 for the Michigan MG Show last month.

good gravey! looks like he used latex gloves and about a gallon of lube to get the engine into JB's pic of the MGA! I swear, the engine looks bigger than the hole that it's in!

A rotary 'B... hmmmm... sounds fun. What series rotary is that? I assume it's not the "new" Renesis rotary that they're putting into the RX-8s. I bet one of those would be a hoot to drive... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

WOW! That thing looks incredible! I'd consider giving a limb to cram something like that under the hood of my MGB! I love the Small V-8 by the way. That is the kind of tired humour you would get finishing up a repair at 6 am before heading to a car show!

Oooh, I drove the RX8. NICE. Nearly bought it last summer, but bought the B instead! Go figger.

Nooney, you should see that car in person. Leather heated seats (Carol gets cold), cruise control. It's an amazing specimen!

sounds like a nice car. I've seen a few tooling around town here. Ever notice that everytime they (Mazda) revise the MX-5 Miata's they take huge styling cues from their RX model of cars? The last generation of MX-5s resembled RX-7s, and the newest MX-5 now resembles the RX-8...

hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahha. people at work are looking at me funny. those are some impressive V8 jobs. the one you posted JB is about the cleanest lookin I've seen but that other one is real nice, too.

Wow...how the heck did he squeeze that monster in there?!?!?! Looks like a lot of weight way up front! I wonder how it handles? Might be interesting to see that thing race a "stock" MGA in a twisty-turny road course! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
