Small projects...

turn quickly into sources of frustration.

Decided the shower project needed a mid-course correction: a short "knee-wall" twixt shower and convenience. Had ONE 8' 2x4 to work with and some shorter pieces... JUST enuff to cob together a 28"x28" frame and plenty of cement board to cover it.

The 2x4 was ever so slightly warped, the thing ain't plumb. Back to the home "improvement" despot t'morrow AM so I can FINISH this nightmare. Gotta be square & straight, my name is on this!

...and I spent an hour rearranging the pieces in different positions... still looked like a square propeller.

If not wise, at least Entropy is persistent. :smirk:

Bet you already have one....

(BTW I feel your pain - too often have tried to use the last piece of wood - only to realize there is a reason it is the last piece.)

Doc do you have a means to make the knee wall ridgid. If it's next to the convience then it will become a handy spot to lift off so to speak. As time goes by it will start to rock.

I ~love~ to do that, Art.

No rockin' fer this bit, Rhody. Base an' rear wall tight.

The top will be anchor'd as well. 30+ year projection for it.

Call Mike Holmes...he'll know how to do it "right".
