Oh boy, that's lovely.

Wow, that is nice tony. I know you are going to like it. Be extra carefull putting those doors back on :wink: I was afraid I might ruin mine putting it back together after painting so I did it all in one. With the metallic I really had to of else it might not match very good. I should have done a solid color, much easier and easier to sand down and repair a scratch too.

Kim - Bodyshop will hang doors before we bring it home....I'll hang trunk & hood when its at the right time.

Well, the body's not beautiful enough for me yet...but it will be after sanding with 600-grit & 2 more coats of urethane....Tartan Red....& then 3 coats of clear!!

Re: Slowly Becoming Red...UPDATE

Went by the body shop this morning - deep, beautiful body..they were beginning the wet sanding to lay down the clear on everything...hopefully it'll be finished this afternoon.

I've decided I want it buffed before I bring it home (gonna try it that way) so I don't have to take it back after its all together (meaning I can't scratch anything!)

Maybe photos this evening or tomorrow latest.....schedule is for it to be in my garage Friday!

What does that leave me, 60 or so days to get it together & road tested?

{Oh, Jack, I don't see the show on the BCF calendar page!!}
