So Work and everything else is getting in the way of progress....so I looked back and did a before and after photo group to remember how far it has progressed.
Thanks to the group for all the help so far and the constant encouragement. If this forum did not exist, it may have been left just like it was!

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hey JP, some great before and after shots there. Keep up the good work. I was able to spend a little time on the car this weekend but didn't get too much accomplished. The main stumbling part on this car for me from day 1 has been the rear of the car as it was in such bad shape. I will be relieved when it is done with and everything is back together.

Anyway, stick with it and you will be rewarded in the end.

Cheers,
David

JP,

"Slow" and "progress" are relative terms, but both are positive. I enjoyed your pictures.

Hanging above my work bench, I have about 25 pictures in an envelope. They start at pick-up and end with the latest significant accomplishment of my restoration. Several pairs of pictures are "before and after". When someone is in my garage, I have a quick presentation of where I was and where I am headed. Generally people say 'wow' or 'that's amazing'. Once a friend of my wife and I, who happens to be a lesbian who doesn't really care about cars visited. After the end of my 'presentation' she gently leaned against me, and quietly said 'That is exciting... nearly orgasmic'.

It doesn't take a specialist to recognize passion, and I'm glad the people on this forum have it.

JP,

That was a nice pic presentation. It appears you are well on your way & doing a really nice job.

Best Wishes,

Russ
