SLO c. 1964

Hi,
Well I am boring everyone tonight with my old slides from the 60's tonight, I am finally scanning these things.
These were taken at San Luis Obispo Airport road races in '64. My good friend John Mcknight is the driver. John went on to build Fomula v's, also had a very interesting Lotus..see Lotus forum. I also had a Sprite MK 2 at the time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

LOVE the rollbar......and the driving suit. Never mind the helmet.....first class safety gear for those years.....and thats shown by the CHROME extinguisher.

Ahhh....SL airport. I thought the hangar looked familiar in the shot above.

Santa Barbara, SLO, Laguna, Riverside, Del Mar, '65 GP at Silverstone, Lots of good stuff. Yes I am sending to Tam.
