I fired up my 1947 Norton 500 cc single yesterday. I have been almost 3 years in rebuilding this to as close to a carbon copy of the original as possible.
It fired on the 3rd kick. I was very pleased as I had dismantled this engine down to where even the crankshaft was in pieces.
I will post some photo's and more info on the motorcycle forum later this evening.
