My keys don't work well while on here and smileys aren't either. Anyone else?

Turn your computer off. Rotate the keyboard 90*. turn computer on and try again.

Smiley's don't work for me either. But this is on my crappy Windows 8 (now 8.1) laptop.

Also, typing text "lags" behind and skips letters unless I type very slowly.

I'm OK on my older Windows machines.

hmmm - typing text works normally for me. Here's a smiley:

yep - no problems here.

kellysguy...I'm having the identical problem. Wonder what's up???

I just did all of that. I still have to keep going back and correcting dropped letters, etc.

Go to top of BCF page, click Settings.

Then click General Settings (lower left).

Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options.

Uncheck Enhanced, choose Standard Editor instead.

Should fix the typing problem.

Tom...I changed the editor and I'm trying it out now. Seems to have made the difference in typing. Will I see anything else that I 'lost' due to changing this?? Thanks.

Thanks Tom. That cured it for me! :applause:

Worked for me too and now it's super fast. Why is it all of you "old guys" (and I mean that with the utmost respect) know all of the tech stuff?

I'm really digging how well this thing responds now.
