Sir Nicholas Winton has died

Saw a very good documentary on this extraordinary gentleman. They showed a reunion of many of the children he saved, their kids and even grandkids. There is a special place waiting for him.
Sad news indeed.

That is a great description of the man. I completely agree.

After the war, he never mentioned what he'd done. Forty years later, his wife found a scrapbook stored away, and that's how we found out what he did.

An honorable man.
