Single Headrest?

Hi, folks! Anywone know where I can get just a single headrest assembly for a '76 TR6?

VB and Moss only sell them in pairs, and TRF and Motorhead dont carry the assembly at all. Color doesnt matter much, as a tan cover is available to re-cover it, if needed, to match the interior.

Thanks!
Aldwyn

Hi Aldwyn,

Have you talked directly to Moss & VB? They might have a pair with one damaged or otherwise make you a deal on a single headrest. It might be worth asking about, not just assuming only avail. in pairs from their catalogs or websites.

Alternatively, maybe someone else just needs one too and the two of you can go in on a pair and split it up. Kinda like the guys who each lost a leg in the war, one right and one left, and since they wore the same shoe size used to meet at the shoe store once a year to buy a pair of shoes to split between them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Problem solved! Thanks for mentioning I should call them!

Seems Moss's web site shows "Req 2" and with a default quantity of "2", but that "per car" not "per order".

So I can order just one.

I am a blonde. That's my excuse. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Aldwyn,
Can one assume that you picked up a TR6 this past week to put under the headrest your looking for?
If so fill us in. Condition? Color? Options?
Last I remember you were sitting on the fence of whether to get a Spitfire or 6.

Hey Phil!

A deal was indeed struck this weekend for a LOCAL car! (yay!) I don't have it yet, though, as I did not buy it on the spot.

But until it's in my driveway, I am not going to call it mine! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif That should be this weekend, and at that point, I'll spill the beans!

But it's a TR6 with OD. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
