Well after 5 days of rain, clouds, and high winds I woke up to clear skies today. I had to head south to pick up a new chain for my saw, on my return trip heading north I saw a most wonderfull sight. All the mountains to the NE are covered in heavy coat of snow. I wish I had a picture to post. It just made me feel good and thought I would share the moment. Everybody have a great day. Now to go cut down the last ten feet of the tree in my front yard.

Keith-

Thanks and I actually understand that. Occasionally when driving I've had those 'oh my goodness' moments where I've seen simply beautiful views - the best ones are on routes that normally I wasn't even thinking of the scenery. Sunset over skies tinted with volcano ash in Anchorage in the 90's, once in a while the colors coming up in the early morning on the Houston skyline, etc. Its hard to get a camera to capture the moment.

Snow?
You want to look at SNOW???
Just look out my front window. It's RIGHT HERE! Not way off on some distant mountain top, where you have to kind of squint to see it. Piles of snow! On my front lawn!

Sorry... I didn't mean to hijack your lovely moment. But, it just kinda caught me at the wrong time -- like, two months (at least) before the snow will be gone...

Snow, what snow? Blue skies and in the 60's here! Gotta get off this computer and finish tearing stuff off the 3A frame!

Seeing snow where it is unexpected out West does really stop you in your tracks. When I lived back East I was like snow, no big deal. Now when i see it on the SoCal mountains, like out at the hanger today, WOW!.

Enjoy it Keith!

No snow here, lately.
