Hey all,
I was asked in a recent post about where to get a silicone
valve cover gasket versus the standard cork. Go to:
www.gasketinnovations.com
They have them for 4 and 6 cylinder Healeys and after having
just installed one I am sold on their product. Had a minor leak at the back of the valve cover and this took care of it.
Know everything's supposed to be perfectly flat to seal correctly with the cork one, but this sure compensated for
my 52 year old valve cover ! Costs $20 + $4 shipping but
was worth it. You can also find them on ebay under Vintage
parts, Austin Healey valve cover gaskets. I actually read
about them in one of the car magazines.
Regards,
Mike
