Hi All
Rebuilding a 100/6 transmission to BN2 specs, have a BN2 bell housing to mount it to so it will be correct clutch mechanism, a couple of questions

1. I understand the input shaft needs to be shortened, what is the correct amount?

2 Is it possible to use the BN1 overdrive with the BN2 Adapter fitted so rear gearbox mount does not have to be changed on the car ?

3. Where the bearing from the input shaft nests in the bell housing what is the purpose of the shims behind ?

4 I purchased the transmission, in pieces I am missing a few small items that the vendors do not list in their catalogues, is any one any to help that may have a junk transmission that may have these available, I need the 2 spacers and circlip either side of the rear main shaft bearing and also the hardened pin and spring for one of the retaining collars.
Thank you
David
