Side screen project anyone?

I'm not interested in another project, but curious about legality of ownership.
If he “found” them, does that make them his to sell?
Maybe I should see if I can “find” one that has been restored.

Not sure about California law, but in Texas it would be a definite risk to the buyer. Title search at a minimum would be needed - then in Texas more pain to get a bonded title and then wait three years and worry if someone with a legitimate claim comes for the cars before a final title is issued.
