What years did they start using the side marker lights.
Did they ever stop using them or move them?

Side marke lights first appeared in 1970....the 1969 model year used reflectors in a different location, and was the only year to have reflectors.

I *believe* that from 1970 thru the end of production, the side markers were the same style and location.

1970 until the end of production they were all the same in the same locations.

... and no one will notice if you remove them except for other MG enthusiasts who will comment on how much nicer the car looks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I like the look without. I was curious about the info.

Oops, just realized you have a '67 so you don't have them at all. Never mind about removing them then! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yep.....My brothers 70 Vixen was the first TVR to have em.

They also had a add-on looking 4 way flasher unit.

Did you know that before July 67, you didn't need seat belts?

(and it is legal to drive w/o them in Pa. today if you car is pre 68)

I went through a DUI checkpoint here in north Alabama in my '63 Midget - no seat belts - & the police officer didn't say anything....actually, all they were doing was asking a couple of questions to see if they could smell alcohol on the driver's breath - what a terrible part of their job, smelling people's bad breath all day.
