Side Curtain Refurb

I am in the process of redoing my BT7 side curtains. Have all the new pieces, but was wondering if the felt needs to be gluded in the channels or just pressed in. If glued, what type of glue do you recommend. Based on prior posts, I am not looking forward to installing the rubber seals.
Thanks,
Rob

I used black 3M weatherstrip glue.

Speaking of side curtains, anyone have an extra set? I have a 1960 BN7 model.
I've found that if you take the set to a reputable windshield installation place, they'll install them for you at a fair price using modern sealers. They also have special tools for such things and more than likely won't damage them.
Good Luck

Johnny,

I have an extra set. They were what Moss was selling during the late 70's. When last I saw them, they were still in useable condition. A little Nevr-Dull on the frames and some Meguiar's polish on the panes. The rubber has likely shrunk some by now though.

They're stored with the rest of my spares down in Florida. I'll be going there in about two weeks (My folks 65th Anniversary is the day after Thanksgiving). I am already planning on bringing some other stuff back, so I can probably find room for them too.

Let me know something (erandyforbes@aol.com) if you're interested.
