TR2/3/3A Sid curtain question

Greetings all,

Working an a '54 TR2 long door (my first car, as a DPO 16 year old) - but that's a story for another time. Trying to gather pieces parts. Looking at a set of side curtains that have dzus fasteners. Mine of course had the wedge fasteners. The question is, are the mounting arms the same length on the two types? I'd like to fabricate the wedges & attach to the arms if they are at the same angle and are the same length...

Any help here?

Thanks,

If your into fabricating and they are different you can make the brackets any size or cut off and weld on the correct ones if you have a doner set.

I've a few old side curtains including several aluminum aftermarket ones. Apparently they came with both wedge and dzus arms that were detachable, just pop on the correct ones. I'll see if I can dig out both arms for a picture and will post if successful.
Tom

You might ask the folks at the Roadster Factory, since they do a lot of side curtain rebuilds. The legs look very much the same, except for the bottoms (holes, etc.) Perhaps the bend is slightly different for a wedge vs. a Dzus?
