It's about time to stick the front shroud back on my 100/6. What goes under it? Is there insulation or sealer or ??? It was already disassembled when I got the car so I wasn't involved in taking it apart. Thanks, Bob
 
Hi Bob, The shroud must be glued to the scuttle using some type of sealer adhesive.Similarly ,the shroud to scuttle joint inside the engine bay must also be sealed off to keep heat out of the cockpit.The front support for the shroud that has the small screws in the drainage channel should also be glued to the shroud.---Fwiw---Keoke
 
Hi Bob,

I used 3M Strip-Calk (their spelling!) part No. 08578 (black). It comes in a box of 20 yds, (60 one foot lengths). This stuff is somewhat soft and sticky so you can combine multiple beads to fill gaps or make a long bead. It stays soft forever so getting things apart in the future is possible. Besides the areas Keoke mentions, make sure you seal around the demister opening area.

Comes in handy also for vibration proofing top door chrome and badges when you mount them. Better auto paint supply stores should carry it.
