Show me your meatballs!

I'm repainting my MGC and it's time to pick a color for the roundels, meatballs, number circles, whatever you want to call them. I'm looking for photos and paint codes for various shades of white.

The car is BMC Tartan Red with Snowberry White circles. I want something more white, but not bright white. Classic BMW 218 white comes to mind.

Anyone care to share their paint color code and show a photo of the car?

Here's the car in question. The white looks nice until you put it next to a car with pure white. Then it looks old and yellowed. Something in between would be nice! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

You're repainting that???!!!???

That's an old photo, at least a few months. It looks much worse now. LOL!

But seriously now, I had some fender damage and my insurance company allows me to choose any repair shop I want. So I chose the best I know of and the painter refused to blend anything on a car with smoothed lines. He knows his stuff and looking around his shop you can tell from the 40's Delahaye, the 50's Rolls, the 40's Mercedes, the Model A, the Cobra, the V12 Zephyr and more. He's taken cars to Pebble Beach numerous times over the past 20 years. Anyway, the insurance company agreed to paint the entire car and I'm not one to argue with them.

I didn't think that a racer would want to be shown a meatball.
