Are TR6 Fender Bolts painted the original color. The new bolts I received are plated and I have been told that the bolts were painted the factory color. I don't remember if they were are not as I pitched them when I started the restoration. Any Help is appreicated as the Fenders were painted off the car. Thanks!

Unless you're going to a concours condition in your restoration, it's entirely up to you. I've seen both ways and either looks good.

FWIW... on TR4s they came out of Coventry with the fender bolts painted. I think it likely that 6s were similarly done.

The TR6's were assembled primed then finish painted assembled. So, yes fender bolts were painted in the original color as a part of the overall painting process.
