This afternoon, I got the box down from the closet shelf,
where I keep my cajones. Buckled the Mrs into the Crypt
Car and turned the key............... NADA!!! No fire.

Tried a second crank- "Huston-we have ignition!"

No trial run, left the hood straight off and headed for
the beach highway. Downshifted into 2nd, punched it and
blew off slow poke tan Miata. (felt pretty good, I admit. )

Pulled into the biker bar with a bunch of "thumbs up" from
our locals and a coupla tall cold ones for me and the Mrs.
I admit, to 75+ mph tops on the ride home. (bad boy Dale,
bad!!)

This brings the Crypt Car to 100+ miles driven without a
breakdown. At this rate of reliability I would not be
surprised if:..........................

It has to be the blue lights under the bumper that convinced Hollywood to find the Tinster.......

As long as the actor hired for the lead dosen't take a line from another Beatles song.
"Bang! Bang! Maxwells silver hammer came down upon his head."

Awww banjo whydja hafta say that?, Max's hammer has bounced of Tinster's head so many times that his head has tempered to inconel steel now

Hey Tomster,

I was just passing thru & read your thd. There are`nt too many people on this earth that are familiar with "INCONEL" mat`l.

How do you know about it?

Just Curious,

Russ

I sell a lot of it, either stamped or machined for my customers. We do a lot of aerospace and specialized medical applications with I625 and I718. We mainly use the Hastelloy's for real high end aero applications.

Right Tom!....good example.

Now back to our intrepid TR6 expert in Puerto Rico, Dale, "the Earl of Todd" for a Hollywood update.

Take it away dale.................

I'll be your stunt double, sitting on the beach all day with my esky full of cold ones...............

You will be a You Tube mega star, kind of like Tom Cruise, but not like him or anything.
