Columbus took a chance and look what we have today because of it! Your new addition could be called the "New World", just like in 1492.
 
It's worth a look see. If you can find another inexpensive car with a good body, you're set.
As long as you keep in mind the value of the finished car and how much this one will cost to get it on the road, you should be in good shape. At worst, you part it out and make a few bucks toward a car in better condition.
