I heat my place, which is about the size of your "small" shop area, with a single Modine hot water unit but if I had it to do over, I'd use radiant with those plastic pipes embedded in the floor. Too late now, though.

To save and plan for such a nice garage, then to be able to build it, must be very sweet.

I'm now in the bid process to add a two car garage onto my home here. It's very exciting. Finally, I won't have to be the "shadetree mechanic" anymore and can work inside in comfort on my beloved projects. It will also allow me to purchase another project car (hopefully, an MGBV8)!!

Very nice garage. I have a feeling that you've earned it!
