Shop secrets to avoid rapid car aging

In the effort to keep my car from aging or falling apart to fast I'm looking for suggestions on the following:
1. Treatment for rubber seals (would silicon spray help or hurt, how about glycerin)
2. Glue to hold rubber seal in place (the AutoZone stuff does nut hold up )
3. Wax for hollow spaces like sills etc. (anyone heard about FERTAN)
4. Glue to repair veneer (how is regular wood glue with humid environments)
5. Paint to finish veneer.
Any recommendations on wood refinishing places?

#1: Glycerine is okay as a "cosmetic" dress-up, works as a short-term lube for assembly but contains some alcohol and not so good as a preservative. ArmorAll, or better, "Son-of-a-Gun" do a better job.

in the Honda world we think that Shin-Etsu Grease is quite good for rubber seals and things like that.

I repaired my veneered dash about a year ago using Titebond wood glue and it has held up fine so far. Oregon is fairly humid but not so much as the SE. It's my daily driver in all weather. Refinished with 5 coats of Minwax Polyshade Antique Walnut Gloss and I'm really happy with it. My Dash
