Sorry!!!!!! The correct part number for Moss Shock Fluid is 220-304. It claims to be good for Girling and Armstrong lever action shocks.

Just go down to your local drug store & buy clear mineral oil...its the same thing as what Moss sells!

When I got rebuilt lever shocks from World Wide Auto/nosimports, I asked what kind of fluid to use in them. The answer was "you should never need to put fluid in them. If they do need fluid, send them back & we will replace them. They are guaranteed not to leak"

Seriously, I have had occasion to add oil, due to revalving, etc., and have always used Armstrong Shock Oil, for the street units. It's probably the same stuff as drug store mineral oil, but I figure why take the chance. Penny wise and pound foolish, if you get my drift.
If I'm running levers on one of the race cars, it's STP!
