Shipping Weights

Can someone tell me the approximate weights of:

- A 1275 engine.

- A ribbed-case tranny

I think the engine comes in at 240lbs and the tranny at 50lbs.

Plus the weight of the pallet & packing material...

A wood crated A series engine was 300 lbs when I shipped one to Australia.
And I crated a ribcase, it was 75 lbs in a wood crate.
Your wood crates may weigh more or less :wink:
