Part number 2A3339. Same part I think Jack was looking for a few days ago.

So, this is the anal question of the night. What color is it supossed to be. I decided to clean one up today. At first I thought it was painted black. The more I cleaned it appeared that it was painted the same Morris Green as the engine and transmission. Do anyone know? Do anyone care?

If I'm going to repaint it I might as well use the correct color.
 
The Bugeye trannies were painted the same green as the engine, and this included the plate. The later ribcases plates were black.

Would expect it to be green but then out of sight out of mind. mine is black.
