Pulled the LE out of storage today...stated right up after 6 months, on blocks, and covered over outside!....runs fine with the exception of a minor fuel leak from the Weber carb due to a few loose screws....otherwise unharmed by the canadian winter! It goes in for a new clutch next friday. It feels so good to be back in an LBC!

Congrats! Feels good, doesn't it?

Has been glorious here, nearly 80 today. Went B'ing Friday evening, yesterday, today. Put 200 miles on her since 4:00 Friday and covered a good portion of the country and bluff roads around here.

Flat wore me out. She needs a bath tomorrow, was buggy out this evening!

That is great, Zack. We had perfect top down weather here. Got the MGB out, top down, and no hat. Let the wind blow through my hair, while I still have hair to be wind blown.

Can't wait to do it again tomorrow.

Cheers

Yes, spring has finally sprung in PA too...but I still have work to do...spent yesterday cleaning and prepping the underside for POR15. Today, I hope to paint the rear end sitting on my bench with other litte supension parts, waiting for warm enough weather to do the painting. Now I can put in the new springs and shocks and put her back together next weekend, just in time for it to get cold and rainy again probably LOL

But topless weather is really here to stay /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

It feels GREAT!......Heading out to a LBC carshow/fleamarket later today makes it that much better.

Good lord, there is nothing like the smell of a garage on a crisp sring day, unless its the hint of exhaust as you make all those s-curves on a twisty little mountain road. Hope you all had a GREAT weekend!

Hey Zack,
How was Hamilton? Wish I could have made it, but no work and all play.. means you have no money for your toys. Hope you spent lots of money.
Trying to get the windshield cowl off the TR7 for paint, then off to work again tonight.
Enjoy the beautiful driving weather.

Ancaster was great...it's been a few years since I was last there and I was just amazed at the amount of people...you could hardly move inside the vendor area...plus hundreds of cars in the show...line up out the door and down the street to get in, in the morning. Didn't buy to much...just an MGA taillight lens and MGB parking light lens. We weren't looking for that much anyway as almost all cars are behaving themselves recently(with exception of the 61 MGA carbs and MGB LE clutch,it goes in the shop friday for a new one) I am sure as the year goes on we will be needing many more parts. I hope you can make it next year!

Zack

...don't I know it! I was so psyched after rebuilding the carbs on the TD and having it running (I thought) pretty good. Now it's running like cr@p. I've tried a bunch of things...last ditch effort is to replace the points...then I seek professional help!

There's a car show in two and a half weeks in NJ that we really want to attend...but it's looking if-y. Wish me luck!

(But I'm still enjoying the weather, even without the car!)

I keep trying to send e-mail to cr@p, and it never gets through. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Not really, but since it popped up on my screen as a link, I did click it. I will have to use that for the next thing that has no business wanting my e-mail.
