Wow... you can come here and work on the Tunebug anyday, Tony! Excellent work.

Looks great Tony! Now I know why you asked about the black strip on mine.

Joel - Yep, I know mine shouldn't have a black stripe; & I know the later chrome bumper cars only had a black stripe from wheel to wheel; & that the rubber bumper cars were black all around so the bumpers wouldn't show body color paint behind them.

Well, since I spend the mornings working on all you guys' cars & the afternoon on mine & working around my place - who knows...hopefully next weekend the drivetrain will go in her.

So, I'm in Birmingham babysitting while daughter & son-in-law are in Boston...will get back to car Sunday...spent y'day installing all the little snaps on the body for the top - hate those little suckers!

Decided to order all new windshield stuff after I sat the old one on the car..U-G-L-Y! nothing wrong with it except it looks old & the car doesn't.

Oh, just talked with Knox Custom Chrome...they did something I've never known them to do: Yep, they promised me that my bumpers would be rechromed in 3 weeks...& this is the 3rd week....they're going in UPS today on the way back to me!! YEE HAA!!

Man, that is unusual.

After all I've spent with them, Jack......

Ok, how about like 30 of us pull a Ty Pennington and show up at Tony's place this weekend, get his car complete and functioning to repay him for all the hard work he's done for everyone over the years? No more Shoemaker's Children Syndrome for Tony.....

I have been offering but he wants to do it himself.

know what ya mean about the old windshield,
thats why i bought most all the trim for the
outside of my car........speaking of..
