I must just be illiterate...I can't figure out how to get to the Shed. Instructions don't seem to work for me !!
 
Shed's working fine 7pm EST.

Look at top of the page. Click the FORUM button.

On the new page, you'll see LIVE CHAT near the top of the list. Click LIVE CHAT

Now you can choose which of the two rooms to chat in. I'm there now if you want to test.

Clicked on Live Chat. Shows two threads both started by Basil. Nothing for Shed, no S to click, notice on right bottom says I can't post threads or replies. I don't 'get it'...
 
But I AM logged in !!! Note at the bottom says that I'm in the live chat forum. I'm totally confused... Do I somehow have to log in seperately to "live chat"??
 
I'd hoped a moderator would step in to help, but try this:

Look in the upper right corner of the BCF page you're reading this on.

Do you see "LOG OUT" ?

OK - click that button and actually log out. Then log back in.

OK - you're logged back in. Now click Forums button, then click Live Chat. Tell me what you see in Live Chat window.
 
I see the two threads by Basil...that's all there is. Nothing about going to the "general chat" (or whatever it is) or the Shed option.
 
All I see are the two threads started by Basil...nothing about the Grneral chat (or whatever it's called) or the Shed icon.
 
Gary - I see you in the Chat window, and posted a couple lines to you. But I don't see any "two threads by Basil" in any of the two chat windows.
 
OK - go back to Chat. Click the G (general channel) button. You should see BCF Chat - General Channel [Archives]

OK - I see you in the General chat window but there's no text from you. And I'm not getting any replies from you here in this thread either for the last 10 minutes.

I'm recommending you work with a moderator to get things going smoothly for you.

Tom...I had to leave the computer for a littlwe while. Think I have it scoped out now thanks to you and hunting around the chat forum. I found another little "chat" at the upper roght where Basil's threads show up for me...pretty confusing. Thanks.

Good grief - you guys! This isn't rocket science. There are two "rooms" (currently) in the Live Chat. The General Room (which is where you are when you first enter Live Chat) and The Shed! I put clear instructions on how to get to the Shed. If you look at the left portion of the chat window you see two little icons. Simply click on the one marked "S" to enter the shed. (The look the same but they are two distinct rooms)
 
Uh Basil...When I was clicking on Live Chat in the main forum list, ALL I got was two threads from you about Announcements and Using Live Chat. No 2 rooms or icons...

Weird. You should see two little gold icons in the upper left part of the chat window. One has "G" on it and the other has "S" on it (for shed). If you're not seeing those, then I'm at a loss.
