Welp, it's been a busy, cold month...but the white MGB is officially on the road and into daily service. Today the coil wire fell of in the middle of an intersection, but it was quickly replaced....so hopefully the next few months of driving go better. The newer heater works great and tomorrow the car is going in for a thorough oil spray, hopefully that will aid in protecting it from the winter.

Heres a few better pics than the ones I posted originally:

This one is for Scott...Thanks again, everything turned out great. I used my old heater upper shell, with all the other parts from yours.

Ron, that is a nice looking car. I'm glad the heater thing worked out for you.
Is that an Ontario car, or did you find it in the south?

As they used to say on hockey night in Canada, "Happy motoring, and always look to Imperial for the best".

Great looking MGB!

Keep the salt washed off of her, OKAY?!?!

Very nice set. Well done.

Very nice, indeed!

Your driveway - is that "sculpted" concrete? Looks very good; would like to have that on mine at some point...

Thanks guys....This B is not a Canadian car. I don't know the entire history, so I've kinda peiced a little together from what the lady I bought it from told me: Her and her husband lived in North Carolina, and he was deported back to columbia for reasons unknown to me...so she came to Ontario with her kids and this car. She couldn't drive a stick so it sat in the underground parking garage of some government project housing for a year until I found it. I have found the ownership for another car(an 87 Honda) in it registered to Miami florida...so it may have been down there for awhile too.

The driveway - it is patterned concrete. Great looking stuff, but I've learnt that it isn't really LBC friendly. It has to be clear coated every year(major job) and gasoline leaks really mess with the finish(to be fair that was a GM), othwer automotive fluids ain't great either, it's also very slippery in the winter causing tires to spin leaving little patches of rubber all over it. If I was gunna do it again I'd have the walkway and maybe a boarder around the driveway done....but not the entire thing - at least not if I am going to be using it to park cars on.
